Job summary

eir business talent is seeking a Cloud Architect (Azure) in Cork for a Cork-based hybrid contract. The role requires extensive Azure project experience for large organisations, strong Terraform and IaC skills, and the ability to assess architectures and remediate risks.

You will ensure Azure AD configuration, manage PIM, and supervise security logging, Key Vault, SQL DBs, and cloud security governance. The position offers hybrid work in Cork with long-term potential.

Qualifications

• Azure architecture experience on large complex organisations.
• Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills.
• Ability to assess Azure architectures, identify weaknesses and remediate risks.
• Experience configuring Azure Active Directory (AAD) and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead Azure architecture design and governance for cloud solutions.
• Provide advisory and implementation support to projects.
• Monitor security logs and manage identity/access management.
• Configure and maintain firewall rules, APIM, Logic Apps, Function Apps.

Job description

Cloud Architect (Azure)

• Corkbased hybrid contract

• Extensive Cloud Architect experience working on Azure projects for very large complex organisations.
• Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Ability to perform assessments Azure architectures, identifying weaknesses and appropriate treatment of risks for associated threats.
• Ensure Azure Active Directory (AAD) is configured for use within solutions
• Azure PIM Management.
• Azure Networking and FW Design and config.
• Monitor, maintain and action security Logs (AAD, O365, Citrix, Azure Services).
• Security Ops on Key Vault and SQL DB’s.
• Manage Cloud Security Portal and Assessremediate compliance to security.
• Security Tenancy review and subsequent remediation activities.
• Project support; providing advisory and implementation support to projects.
• Operational support, firewall rules, identity and access management, security logging and monitoring.
• Knowledge of APIM, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Web Apps, ADF and PowerBI.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience of Azure SQL.
