Job summary

The Coombe Hospital in Dublin seeks an experienced physiotherapist to provide expert clinical service to the Women's Health and Continence service. You will ensure high standards of assessment, treatment and management and uphold patient privacy and dignity on all occasions.

You will undertake duties assigned by the Physiotherapy Manager, maintain ward competency and paediatric core skills, lead and promote clinical excellence through performance management, education, audit and research, and

Responsibilities

• Provide an expert clinical service to the Women's Health and Continence service.
• Ensure a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, treatment and management is provided for patients and that professional standards are adhered to.
• Ensure the privacy and dignity of the patient is respected at all times.
• Observe patient confidentiality.
• To undertake other duties within the hospital as specified by the Physiotherapy Manager, including maintaining ward competency level and paediatric core skills required on wards/baby clinic.
• Lead, promote and ensure clinical electiveness through performance management, education, audit and research.
• Be aware of resource management and contribute to business planning and continuous quality improvement related to the physiotherapy department and the specialist area.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient and activity records in line with national documentation standards
