Job description

The job purpose is to work as part of an interdisciplinary team to organise, coordinate and progress the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital (MMUH) neurology service. To be a key member of the interdisciplinary team acting as senior decision-maker to coordinate and manage a varying cohort of patients presenting with neurological conditions, in conjunction with the physiotherapy department and in accordance with the mission, values and strategic plan of the organisation. To lead, manage and co-ordinate a high quality, evidence-based physiotherapy service, as part of an interdisciplinary therapy, medical and nursing team including planning for appropriate ongoing therapy arrangements according to patient need.
