Job summary

OC Recruitment is seeking a Clinical Services Manager in Dublin to lead a multidisciplinary clinical team and ensure trauma-informed, person-centred services for complex needs. The role covers nursing, mental health, counselling and primary care supports, with operational responsibility and collaboration with senior management.

The ideal candidate will have anHealth-related Level 8 degree, 5+ years in addiction/ homelessness/ mental health services, and 3+ years in management, plus strong risk

Qualifications

  • Level 8 degree in a health-related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years experience delivering clinical services within addiction, homelessness and/or mental health.
  • At least 3 years management experience.
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management and quality assurance frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership and decision‑making skills.
  • Strong communication and report-writing ability.
  • Ability to manage both strategic priorities and day-to-day operational demands.
  • A genuine commitment to trauma-informed, inclusive and person-centred services.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of clinical services.
  • Manage, support and develop clinical staff.
  • Ensure staff work within their professional scope of practice.
  • Promote a trauma-informed and person-centred approach.
  • Oversee assessment, care planning, implementation and review.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, policies and legislation.
  • Support risk management, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Manage incidents, health & safety and infection control.
  • Review staffing levels and rosters in line with service needs.
  • Build relationships with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies.
  • Produce service reports and contribute to service reviews.
  • Support budget management and financial controls.
  • Ensure accurate clinical records and information systems are maintained.

Salary: €60,215€71,386 Contract: Permanent, Full-Time Hours: 37.5 hours per week, across MondaySunday Location: Dublin OC Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting an experienced Clinical Services Manager on behalf of a well-established healthcare and social care organisation in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinical leader with a background in addiction, homelessness and/or mental health services to take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and delivery of a range of frontline clinical services supporting people with complex needs. The Role As Clinical Services Manager, you will lead and support a multidisciplinary clinical team, ensuring services are safe, effective, trauma-informed and delivered to a consistently high standard. You will have responsibility for the operational management of clinical services including nursing, mental health, counselling and primary care supports, while working closely with senior management and external partner agencies.

Key responsibilities will include:
