Job summary

Avista invites applications for the role of Clinical Nurse Manager 1 in Limerick, within our Community Residential Services. The successful candidate will lead clinical care, ensure safety and quality, and work as part of an inter-disciplinary team.

Requirements include NMBI registration, a minimum of three years as a staff nurse, a full clean Irish driving licence with access to own vehicle, and proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with NMBI.
• Minimum of three years’ experience at staff nurse level.
• Full clean manual Irish driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Proficiency in the English language.
• Experience working with people with complex disabilities and/or autism.
• Ability to work as part of an inter-disciplinary team.
• RNID qualification and management qualification (completed or in progress).
• Evidence of clinical, communication, planning, organisation and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership within Community Residential Services in Limerick.
• Oversee nursing care and ensure high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care.
• Lead on care planning, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
