Job summary

Avista is a person-centred, rights-based organisation delivering Day, Residential and Respite supports across Dublin, Limerick and North Tipperary. We are seeking a Staff Nurse - Community to join Community Residential Services in Limerick.

Applicants must have NMBI registration, a full clean manual driving licence, and access to their own vehicle. English proficiency and strong collaborative skills are essential.

Qualifications

• NMBI Registration is required.
• Commitment to pro-actively supporting individuals in daily lives through a person-centred approach.
• Proven organisational, leadership, communication, interpersonal and teambuilding skills.
• Ability to network with external agencies, PHNs, GP clinics and hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and promote healthcare needs of individuals living in Community Residential Services (CRS).
• Work in a community setting delivering supports to people with intellectual disabilities.
• Lead and mentor staff teams in delivering high-quality care.
• Collaborate with external agencies and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care.
