Job summary

Avista is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 for night duty at our community residential services in Limerick.

You will lead nursing staff, ensure HIQA standards are met, manage rostering and leave planning, and work with families and the wider MDT to provide person‑centred care.

Essential qualifications include NMBI registration, a management course, five years’ nursing experience, and a full driving licence; a commitment to supporting people with intellectual disabilities.

JOB ADVERTISEMENT APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION: CLINICAL NURSE MANAGER 2 - NIGHT DUTY COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL SERVICES, LIMERICK PERMANENT PART-TIME CONTRACT (24 Hours Per Week)

Salary: €62,699- €79,227* (lsi) *Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

Essential:

• Up to date NMBI Registration.
• A completed Management Course or to be completed within three months.
• Full, clean driving license for manual vehicles and access to own car.
• Have five years' experience as a staff nurse and/or CNM1 experience.
• Have experience of supporting people with intellectual disabilities, complex health needs, autism and behaviours of concern.
• Have completed mandatory training.
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work on own initiative.
• Proven managerial, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with families and the wider MDT.
• Have a detailed knowledge of the HIQA standards / regulations and Health Act 2007 and have the ability to maintain compliance with HIQA.
• Have a detailed knowledge of rostering and managing the rostering arrangements and leave planning for staff.
• Proficiency in the English language.
• Applicants should possess Level 2 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
