Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support patient admissions and care coordination.
• Manage referral, admission, and discharge processes with policy compliance.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of patient referrals (on-site and via telephone).
• Allocate patients to appropriate ward/bed for safe, high-quality care.
• Monitor bed occupancy and prepare daily occupancy reports for senior management.
• Deliver patient-centred care aligned with missions, values and objectives.
• Support clinical governance, leadership and day-to-day service management.
• Act as Person-in-Charge in the absence of the Assistant Director of Nursing, ensuring HIQA standards and Health Act 2007 compliance.
• Assist the Registered Provider/Director of Nursing in operational management.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and adapt to evolving service needs.
