We are currently hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) for a leading Nursing Home in County Wexford .

Responsibilities
- Making certain that the best clinical standards and home policies are consistently followed.
- Keep an eye on the nursing staff's compliance and drug administration.
- Create a monthly stock inventory and place monthly orders for goods.
- Collaborate and maintain a visible presence with the Care Assistants and Staff Nurses.
- Work with the director of nursing to take part in staff nurse and care assistant performance reviews and training.
- Examine recent admissions to make sure that the necessary planning, execution, and assessment of care are recorded.
- Capacity to support the Director of Nursing in all duties so that, in the event of an annual leave of absence, the function can be efficiently assumed.
- Take charge of daily tasks such as monitoring and updating rosters as needed, participating in handovers, and assessing resident advancement.
- Support and enhance clinical practice by working directly with staff nurses and care assistants.
Requirements
- BSc in General Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Registered on the NMBI Live Register.
- Previous managerial training and/or experience (advantageous).
- Demonstrated excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Proven sound clinical and managerial decision-making ability.
- Ability to motivate self and others and work effectively on own initiative.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively and promote a positive team environment.
