Job summary

Vhi Health and Wellbeing is seeking an Advanced Specialist Pharmacist - Clinical Informatics to lead EPMA configuration, validation and safety governance within Cerner Millennium. You will align medication content with national standards and drive digital health initiatives.

This fixed-term, full-time role based in Dublin offers hybrid working and a chance to shape clinical workflows, support testing, training, and audits while collaborating with Medical, Pharmacy, ICT, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
• 5 years experience as a clinical pharmacist in inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Ability to discharge duties with high suitability and management ability.
• Strong communication, negotiation, influence and diplomacy skills.
• Knowledge of quality improvement and clinical governance.

Responsibilities

• EPMA build and configuration across Cerner Millennium.
• Develop and maintain prescribing templates, order sets and CDS rules.
• Ensure alignment with national standards, formularies and policies.
• Support implementation of new medications, protocols and clinical services.
• Coordinate testing, UAT and validation of changes.
• Monitor system performance and pursue workflow improvements.
• Engage with Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, ICT and vendors.
• Provide training and education on EPMA functionality.
• Support audits and maintain build documentation.
