Job summary

UPMC Ireland is seeking an Integration Specialist – ICT Systems and Clinical Integration to lead a complex EHR integration programme. You will coordinate between clinical teams, ICT stakeholders, and vendors to ensure interoperable interfaces across devices and core systems.

The role covers analysis, design, development support, testing, and deployment activities within a regulated healthcare environment. It offers exposure to enterprise ICT platforms and transformative patient care initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, Electronic/Electrical Eng, IT, CS or Health Informatics.
• 2+ years in systems analysis or integration roles.
• Healthcare system integration experience preferred (Meditech desirable).
• Knowledge of HL7, DICOM, XML, FHIR, JSON data formats and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clinical engineering, radiology, and other stakeholders to capture integration requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specs.
• Facilitate workshops to define data flows and device connectivity.
• Document current and future state integration architectures and data flows.
• Support interface spec documentation and validation with vendors.
