Job summary

Novartis, in partnership with Magnit Global, seeks a Clinical Scientific Expert I (CSE External/Contractor) to provide clinical data review and insights across study phases. You will ensure data quality, support safety analytics, and collaborate with the Integrated Clinical Trial Team (iCTT).

This temporary role offers a hybrid work arrangement and training support. The ideal candidate holds an advanced life sciences degree with 1–2 years (or 3–4 years in related Clinical Operations) experience,

Qualifications

Advanced life sciences/healthcare degree required; Master’s or PhD strongly preferred.
1-2 years scientific/operational experience in planning, executing, reporting clinical studies, or 3-4 years in Clinical Operations/Clinical Science.
Good knowledge of GCP and drug development processes.
Strong scientific knowledge in at least one therapeutic area.
Knowledge of data collection/reporting systems (Rave/OC-RDC advantageous).
Analytical background with ability to detect data trends and elevate as needed.
Fluent English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

Ensure high-quality clinical data review and insights through the iCTT.
Contribute to data review/quality plans and study data integrity.
Support CRF development and data capture tool implementation.
Assist in data review process improvements and pharmacovigilance activities as needed.
Attend study-level meetings as required.
