Job summary

AethelRa Consulting Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Clinical Associate to join a dynamic team.

The role involves assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients across inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, and operating theatres, with close collaboration among multidisciplinary teams. The candidate will deliver comprehensive medical care, maintain accurate records, participate in rounds and audits, and contribute to continuous medical education.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a recognized MBBS degree or equivalent, accredited by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-housemanship experience as a Medical Officer (or equivalent), preferably in Neuroradiology or Diagnostic Radiology, or holding a relevant postgraduate qualification in these specialties
  • At least 3 years of active clinical practice within the relevant discipline
  • Compliance with the English language proficiency standards set by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive clinical care to patients, including history taking, physical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Manage and monitor patients’ medical conditions in inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, and perioperative settings
  • Assist in performing clinical procedures and support specialists during diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Review and interpret diagnostic investigations such as imaging and laboratory results in collaboration with senior clinicians
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards
  • Participate in ward rounds, case discussions, and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Provide patient and family education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and participate in on-call duties where required
  • Maintain continuity of care through proper handovers and coordination with other healthcare professionals
  • Adherent to hospital policies, clinical protocols, and ethical standards of medical practice
  • Support quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and patient safety programmes
  • Engage in continuous medical education and professional development to stay current with clinical best practices

Education

MBBS degree or equivalent
Post-housemanship experience as Medical Officer (or equivalent)
Postgraduate qualification in neuroradiology or diagnostic radiology (preferred)
Active clinical practice in relevant discipline (3 years)
English language proficiency per SMC

Role Overview

The Clinical Associate is a non-specialist medical practitioner responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care. This includes the assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients across inpatient wards, specialist outpatient clinics, and operating theatres. This role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of clinical care and patient outcomes.
