Job summary

Clinical Advisor (Part-Time)

Location: Munster or Leinster (travel required)

Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time

Working Pattern: 8 days per month (average of 2 days per week), with flexibility required to meet service needs

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Advisor (Tissue Viability) to join their team on a part-time permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a healthcare professional with a strong background in tissue viability and wound care to play a key role in delivering clinical education, supporting healthcare professionals, and promoting best practice across both hospital and community settings.

The successful candidate will work closely with clinicians and key stakeholders, providing expert clinical training and education while acting as a trusted advisor in the field of tissue viability.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver clinical training and education to staff.
  • Provide education and support to new and existing clinicians in hospital and community settings.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with senior healthcare professionals.
  • Prioritise objectives and effectively manage workload to maximise time and resources.
  • Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of tissue viability practices, treatment protocols, and product ranges.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the product portfolio.
  • Gather and report market intelligence relating to both company and competitor products and activities.
  • Ensure all information is communicated accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Stay informed on national and international evidence-based practice developments within tissue viability and wound care.
  • Represent the organisation at local, national, and international exhibitions and conferences where required.
  • Compile case studies, testimonials, feedback forms, and clinical outcomes relating to company products.
  • Participate in trade shows, educational events, and marketing activities as required.
Candidate Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Tissue Viability.
  • Wound Care Certification or equivalent clinical experience.
  • Proven ability to educate and train healthcare professionals.
  • Strong clinical knowledge within tissue viability and wound care.
  • Full driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout Munster and Leinster.
