Job summary

Viva is recruiting for a field-based Direct Representatives role covering Cork. You will promote payment and fintech services, assist merchants with verification and activation, and monitor portfolio performance while providing in-person support.

Applicants should have 2+ years in business development, CRM experience, and excellent negotiation and organizational skills. Fluent English is required, with travel across the region as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of business development experience in a fast-paced environment, ideally in financial services or Horeca.
• Strong understanding of financial products and services features and advantages.
• Experience with CRM systems and strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational and diary management abilities.
• Fluent in English.

Role Overview:

As a member of the Direct Representatives Team, you will play a crucial role in promoting company services directly to clients, ensuring seamless activation and ongoing support for merchants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote the company services by visiting clients’ premises;
• Assist merchants with verification and activation processes;
• Monitor and analyze portfolio performance;
• Provide in-person support and consultation for existing customers;
• Engage in both system-scheduled and self-initiated activities;
• Ensure new merchants in the assigned portfolio complete registration;
• Support existing merchants in maintaining active usage;
• Escalate issues by opening cases for problems beyond their resolution scope;
• Present product features and benefits to clients in a compelling manner;
• Travel to meet clients and attend industry events.

What we look for:

• 2+ years of experience in business development within a fast-paced environment preferably a financial services institution, or to the retail / hospitality (Horeca) business verticals;
• Understanding of financial products / services features and advantages;
• Experience in working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems;
• Outstanding negotiation skills;
• Strong organizational and diary management skills;
• Resiliency and the ability to handle objections;
• The ability to deal with a diverse client base;
• Computer literacy & tech mindset;
• Fluent in English.

• Basic salary of Euro 38,000 to 45,000 depending on experience and skills sets
• Performance incentive payments, capped at 1.5 x base annual salary and paid monthly.
