Job summary

IRIS in Ireland is seeking a Client Payroll Executive for the Paycheck Plus team within Managed Payroll Services. You will manage end-to-end Irish payrolls for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.

You’ll own client payrolls, handle deductions, benefits, and reporting, and act as the main contact for payroll queries. Experience in bureau/payroll outsourcing and IPASS is preferred; Excel and Outlook are essential.

Qualifications

• IPASS qualification (or working towards it).
• Strong experience processing Irish payroll end-to-end.
• Experience managing multiple client payrolls.
• Knowledge of Sage Micropay, payroll journals, CSO returns, benefits.
• Confidence using Excel and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail - you spot what others miss.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
• The ability to manage your own deadlines and workload.
• A team-focused mindset with a willingness to support others.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Irish payrolls for multiple clients.
• Process monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
• Handle calculations, deductions, benefits, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Irish legislation, GDPR, and internal standards.
• Act as the main point of contact for payroll queries from clients and employees.
• Build strong relationships with clients and become a trusted contact.
• Identify ways to improve processes, efficiency and automation.
• Support wider projects such as system improvements and testing.
