FDC Financial Services Ltd in Ireland is seeking a Qualified Financial Consultant on a maternity leave cover contract to join our advisory team. You will provide comprehensive financial planning, manage an existing client portfolio and develop new business within the region.

You will build lasting client relationships, deliver high‑quality advice, and contribute to the growth of the practice while staying up to date with products and regulations. Abbeyfeale-based with travel to nearby offices.

Qualifications

• Fully QFA or working towards the qualification.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Proactive mindset with focus on growth for the company's client base.
• Systematic workload management and accountability.
• Team player with positive working relationships and collaborative approach.
• Sales experience in a brokerage or similar background is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide clients with comprehensive financial planning solutions, including tailored investment solutions, pensions, savings and protection.
• Manage an existing portfolio of clients and develop client relationships with new and existing clients within the region
• Identify financial planning needs and generate new business with existing and potential clients to achieve performance targets
• Deliver a consistent, high level of professional advice and consultation with respect to clients’ needs
• Undertake in-depth evaluations of a client's financial situation, current provisions, future goals, and risk attitude during a comprehensive fact find
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes through feedback and cooperation with support staff
• Maintain professional development and accreditation through tutorials and seminars
• Report to management and support staff on activities, targets, and meetings
• Keep up-to-date with financial products and legislation
• Keep line managers/directors updated on operational issues
• Achieve or exceed agreed business targets and meet compliance standards
