Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor in Limerick for a full-time role with a 39-hour week. The shift pattern is 5 over 7, with Weekday shifts 2pm-10:30pm and Weekend shifts 9am-5:30pm. The role includes supervising cleaning staff, ensuring standards, and maintaining stock and equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in cleaning or similar environments.
• Good knowledge of cleaning standards, health and safety, COSHH regulations, etc.
• Flexible and willing to adapt to daily demands.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support cleaning staff in their daily tasks.
• Ensure all cleaning duties are completed to the required standard and on schedule.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and COSHH regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of cleaning areas and equipment as required.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels in cleaning storage rooms and report when supplies are running low.
• Ensure staff wear correct uniforms and maintain a professional appearance.
• Train team members on safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
