Job summary

Sodexo Ltd in Dublin is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to lead a team at a prestigious client site. You will supervise and support cleaning operatives, recruit and train staff, monitor budgets, and ensure health and safety standards.

This full-time role offers €17.50 per hour, with rotating shifts: Week 1 7.30am-3.30pm and Week 2 1.30pm-10pm, plus our Sodexo employee benefits package.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a similar environment (cleaning) is required.
• Experience leading large teams (up to 20 people).
• Hands-on approach and willingness to get involved.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Cleaning Operatives, ensuring high cleaning standards and effective team performance.
• Recruit, train, induct, and manage staff, including appraisals and briefings.
• Monitor budgets, stock levels, and resources to deliver services efficiently.
• Conduct audits, ensure contract compliance, and maintain health and safety standards.
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for service improvements.

What you'll do:

• Supervise and support Cleaning Operatives, ensuring high cleaning standards and effective team performance.

• Monitor budgets, stock levels, and resources to deliver services efficiently and within agreed costs.
• Conduct audits, ensure contract compliance, and maintain health and safety standards across all operations.
• Build strong client relationships, drive continuous service improvement, and identify new business opportunities.

What you'll bring:

• Supervisory experience in a similar environment - ideally cleaning industry
• Experience with leading large teams of up to 20 people
• Hands on approach - not afraid to jump in and get your hands dirty
• You're a team player with good spoken and written communication skills
