Job summary

Sodexo Ltd in Dublin is seeking a dedicated cleaning operative to join our client-site team, dedicated to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You’ll support the supervisor and help guide the cleaning team to deliver exceptional results across the site.

Whether working solo or with colleagues, you’ll stay flexible, communicate clearly, and be ready to jump into daily tasks with attention to detail. We value safety and professional development.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is beneficial.
• Able to work solo or in a team.
• Flexible and adaptable to daily tasks.
• Good spoken and written communication.
• Strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the cleaning supervisor.
• Instruct and guide the cleaning team in approach.
• Prepare and train on cleaning machinery.
• Stock take and support with implementing cleaning lists.
• Actively clean & monitor team approach.
• Lead and support the cleaning team to deliver high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in line with company standards.
• Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and correctly.
• Check work is at a required standard & manage client expectations.
• Carry out any other reasonable tasks as directed by management.
• Keep our teams safe, with a close eye on safety and sanitation procedures.
• Monitor and maintain the highest standards of cleaning and hygiene across all areas.
• Attend training as required to continue professional development.
