Job summary

Kepak Group is seeking Cleaning Operatives for an evening shift in Athleague, Ireland, four days per week (Mon–Thu), approx. 4pm–midnight. You will ensure hygiene and cleanliness in the production environment and operate cleaning equipment safely.

Experience in industrial cleaning is preferred. A good command of English, ability to work under own initiative, and willingness to work night shifts and occasional weekends are important. 20 days leave and other staff benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean industrial machinery, tools and equipment to the highest standard.
• Clean factory floors, walls, surfaces and production lines.
• Operate pressure washers and cleaning equipment safely.
• Handle cleaning materials and chemicals per training.
• Maintain hygiene standards and safety procedures.
• Complete daily tasks and relevant documentation.

Kepak Athleague are looking for Cleaning Operatives to work an evening shift from approximately 4pm - midnight, 4 days per week, working Monday to Thursday.

Job Purpose

Responsible for ensuring that the standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the production environment is achieved on a daily basis, ensuring safe use of industrial cleaning equipment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring cleaning of all industrial machinery, tools, and equipment is carried to the highest standard
• Cleaning of factory floors, walls, work surfaces and production lines within allocated area
• Safe use of industrial pressure washers and cleaning equipment
• Safe use of cleaning materials and chemicals, in line with training
• Maintain and safely operate tools, equipment, and chemicals
• Adhering to cleaning instructions and schedules, to ensure tasks meet the required hygiene standards
• Maintain Industrial Hygiene Standards
• Completion of daily cleaning tasks, and completion of all relevant documentation and checklists
• Maintain to Health and Safety Standards
• Actively participate in all required company training
• Complying with Company's health and safety rules, and hygiene requirements
• Carry out any other duties as directed
• Experience working within an Industrial Cleaning Environment preferred
• Able to work in chilled environments
• Manual handling ability and awareness, must be fit and able
• Meticulous attention to detail essential
