Job summary

Apleona is seeking Cleaning Operatives to join our team in Limerick City. Working pattern: Monday to Sunday, 40 hours per week, various shifts. This role involves cleaning offices, corridors, toilets, kitchens, and public areas, with a focus on safety and quality.

Flexibility for nights and weekends is required; full training will be provided. Ideal candidates will have prior cleaning experience and good English proficiency, with a commitment to safe working practices and use of cleaning

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar cleaning role.
• Good working knowledge of English.
• Knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices.
• Knowledge of how to use the equipment necessary to carry out the assigned tasks.
• Flexibility required - nights / weekends

Responsibilities

• Undertake general cleaning of all areas of the building, including offices, floors, corridors, stairwells, and toilets.
• Vacuuming, dusting, and washing floors and walls
• Sweeping, floor polishing, and waste disposal
• Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Ensuring the toilet facilities are kept clean, and supplies are replenished when required
• Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, showers, and elevators
• General housekeeping and cleaning around the building.
• Inform the Supervisor/Manager of the stock required for replenishing purposes
• Undertake any other duties as requested
