Job summary

OCL Laundry Services Ltd is seeking a reliable cleaner for a full-time, permanent position in Ballinrobe, Mayo. You will perform floor care, waste disposal, and general housekeeping within the laundry area and surrounding facilities.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, using floor care machines, replenishing supplies, and adhering to safety instructions. On-site training will be provided; commuting to Ballinrobe is preferred.

Responsibilities

Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops
General maintenance of the laundry floor
Mopping floors with wet or damp mops
Using electrically powered scrubbing and polishing machines to burnish, scrub, polish and spray clean floors (after receiving proper instruction and training).
To dust, damp wipe, wash or polish furniture, ledges, window sills, external surfaces of cupboards, radiators, shelves and fitments.
To replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels)
To clean toilets, urinals, hand basins and sinks.
The use of chemical agents as directed by the Supervisor in the discharge of cleaning operations or maintenance procedures, after receiving proper instructions and training.
Cleaners may also be required to clean cooker and work surface areas.
Litter picking surrounding grounds of development.
Car park up keep (litter picks)
Carry out instruction as directed by the Supervisor.
On site training will be provided.
