Job summary

Apleona is hiring Part-Time Cleaning staff for a residential setting in Salthill, Galway. You will work across shifts from Monday to Sunday, up to 20 hours per week, carrying out general cleaning duties and maintaining high standards of hygiene.

We value a good work record, a good level of English, reliability and the ability to work independently. Garda Vetting is required. Training will be provided and you will join a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Good English both verbal and written.
• Experience with cleaning equipment is desirable.
• Garda Vetting is required.
• Basic health and safety knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum carpets and mop floors.
• Clean toilets and polish glass/brass surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish.
• Use cleaning materials safely per COSHH guidelines.
• Report defects and safety issues promptly.
• Maintain security awareness and report suspicious activities.
• Undertake job-related training as needed.
• Perform additional duties as required.
• Work effectively as part of a team and provide excellent customer service.
