Job summary

Select Roofing & Cladding Ltd. is seeking a qualified cladder to join our team in Dublin. Reporting to site foremen and project managers, you will conduct cladding assessments, install and repair cladding, and coordinate with site members to meet project timelines.

Experience on commercial/industrial properties, ideally in Ireland, is preferred. You will handle various cladding materials, maintain safety standards, keep records, and ensure environmentally responsible disposal of waste.

• Experience on commercial/industrial properties as a qualified cladder.
• Experience on domestic cladding projects – preferably in Ireland.
• Knowledge of cladding materials, installation techniques, and repair methods.
• Basic English for role communication.

Job description

Reporting to the site foremen, Contracts Managers and Project Managers, Applicants must possess prior experience in Roofing, with a preference for experience within Ireland. Additionally, the ability to work collaboratively within a team context is essential, as the role involves coordination with other site members.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cladding assessments and inspections to determine the scope of work required for repairs, replacements, or new installations.
• Perform cladding installations, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with industry standards and safety guidelines.
• Handle a variety of cladding materials to achieve desired results.
• Collaborate closely with site members, sub-contractors, and fellow employees to ensure effective communication and coordination on projects.
• Adhere to project timelines and deadlines to ensure timely completion of cladding tasks.
• Ensure proper disposal of old materials and debris in compliance with environmental regulations.
• Safely operate and maintain cladding tools and equipment, ensuring their functionality and safety
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, promoting safety and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, all ISO standards, QHS standards and industry standards, and regulatory requirements during the procurement process.
• Prepare and maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation.

Requirements

• Experienced working on commercial and/ or industrial properties as a qualified cladder.
• Proven experience on domestic cladding projects – preferably in Ireland
• Strong knowledge of different cladding materials, installation techniques, and repair methods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Basic English will be needed for this role
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
