Job summary

Greenvolt Next Ireland is seeking an experienced Civils Project Manager to lead civil works on utility-scale renewable energy projects across Ireland. You will oversee pre-construction through project completion, ensuring safety, on-schedule delivery, and quality.

The role requires a degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, chartered status or active pursuit, and at least five years of similar experience. Strong communication, planning, and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Chartered status or working towards professional accreditation.
• Temporary Works Coordinator training.
• Minimum five years’ experience managing civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of NEC4, FIDIC or EPC contracts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Leadership and team management.
• Planning and organisation.
• Problem-solving and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Manage civils works across multiple renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, consultants, and suppliers.
• Monitor programme progress and drive timely project delivery.
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to project requirements.
• Support project handover and close-out activities.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and forecasts.
• Review subcontractor applications, variations, and change management.
• Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Support contractual correspondence and commercial reporting.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all projects.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, legislation, and standards.
• Review RAMS and construction methodologies.
• Support audits, inspections, and quality assurance processes.
• Attend and lead progress meetings; build relationships.
