Job summary

DesignBuild Search is partnering with a multinational civil and piling contractor to appoint an Operations Coordinator in Dublin/Leinster. The role oversees day-to-day operations across ongoing projects with occasional travel within Ireland, ensuring delivery aligns with schedules and budgets.

The candidate will coordinate plant, personnel and subcontractors, manage fleet, prepare RAMS and track expenditure. A strong civil/geotechnical background and leadership skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a construction management role.
• Knowledge of heavy machinery such as 60t drilling rigs, excavators, concrete pumps, crane.
• Excellent time management, organisational, oral/written communication and attention to detail.
• Excellent people management and team leadership.
• Willingness to travel within Ireland due to site visits.
• Knowledge of ground investigations, piling works and ground improvement works.

Responsibilities

• Plan for upcoming projects, organise plant, personnel and subcontractors.
• Prepare RAMS, lift plans, Inspection Test Plans.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and under budget.
• Manage fleet and equipment maintenance.
• Oversee site personnel and performance.
• Maintain in-house tracking apps for equipment, personnel and HSE reporting.
• Assist in preparing financial proposals and track project expenditure.
• Provide technical and commercial guidance to engineers and site staff.
• Oversee projects and ensure successful delivery.
• Liaise with client teams and administration for daily operations.
