Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Site Agent to join our civil project in Wexford. You will lead earthworks and pavement activities, ensuring quality and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• Experience supervising earthworks activities.
• Familiarity with highway works specifications and contract documents.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Design review of submissions for earthworks, pavement, road furniture, markings and finishings to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Prepare method statements, inspection and test plans and risk assessments.
• Responsible for the technical development of staff members.
• Review quality of work on all ongoing works.
• Ensure compliance with standards and specifications for pavement design and workmanship.
• Supervision of earthworks, subbase, CBGM and asphalt pavement construction.
• Monitor work to ensure accurate testing.
• Liaise with project team, client and supplier on technical matters.
