Job summary

Glenveagh Properties PLC is looking for a Civil Engineering Graduate as part of its 2027 Graduate Programme. The role supports Senior Site Engineers and Site Managers across projects, with hands-on exposure, mentorship, and structured CPD opportunities.

Two start dates are offered in 2027 (June and September). The position is based on-site in Ireland, with training in commercial acumen, leadership, problem solving, and teamwork as part of the IMI-delivered programme.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Site Manager and Senior Site Engineer in day-to-day site operations.
  • Support on all aspects of site management and project processes.
  • Perform general admin duties, file site project documentation, and manage records.
  • Requisition materials and participate in quality control and document control.
  • Report weekly and monthly data to site teams and stakeholders; maintain a professional company image.

We are currently accepting applications for our 2027 Graduate Programme. This Programme will commence in 2027 with two start dates offered in both June & September 2027.

The Civil Engineering Graduate is responsible for supporting the Senior Site Engineer in the coordination and delivery of the project. The location of the role will be confirmed prior to commencement date and will be subject to operational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting the Site Manager and Senior Site Engineer in the running of the site
  • Assisting on all aspects of Site Management and project processes and procedures
  • General administrative duties as required by the Site Manager or Contracts Manager
  • File site project documentation
  • Requisition of materials
  • Quality Control

  • Managing site records and deliveries
  • Report weekly and monthly data and information to site teams, key stakeholders and partners
  • Maintain a professional image for the company in all dealings with public and stakeholders
  • Other ad hoc duties that the Company may require from time to time

You hold (obtained within the last 2 years) or are working towards (2027 graduation) a Degree / Higher Diploma in Minimum of Level 7/8 degree in Civil Engineering.

You have excellent communication skills both written and verbal

You're flexible and adaptable

You're IT literate, with a proactive approach to learning and ability to leverage emerging technologies including AI tools
