Job summary

daa is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the Design team as part of a €3bn capital investment programme to grow the capacity of Dublin Airport. The role focuses on delivering high-quality infrastructure designs for airfield and associated facilities in compliance with EASA/ICAO standards and best international practice.

You will produce designs, drawings, specifications, calculations and contract documentation, while guiding 3rd party consultants and assuring quality and compliance for Dublin

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in infrastructure design and airfield projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with codes of practice and international standards (EASA/ICAO) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design large-scale infrastructural projects with a focus on airfield and heavy civil components.
• Produce designs, drawings, specifications, schedules of quantities, and contract documentation.
• Coordinate with 3rd party consultants and assure design quality and compliance for Dublin Airport.

daa is currently implementing a €3bn capital investment programme to grow the capacity of the airport.The daa Infrastructure Department is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the Design team.

The Civil Engineer is responsible for the development of engineering solutions that satisfy the technical, operational and aesthetic requirements of Client briefs whilst being in compliance with codes of practice, EASA / ICAO standards and best international practice.

The role entails the design of large-scale infrastructural projects with a focus on airfield and heavy civil engineering components including airfield geometry, pavements, site works, drainage and utilities, external works associated with buildings, roads and car parks and minor roads works.

This role will also include the production of designs, drawings, specifications,schedules of quantities, calculations, compliance documentation, reports and contract documentation. A large part of the role will require assuring the quality of design activities undertaken by 3rd party consultants while checking for compliance and appropriateness to Dublin Airport.
