Job summary

Harmony Residential Care is recruiting a Social Care Manager for our Mainstream Children's Service in Laois. You will lead a dedicated team, oversee daily operations, and ensure adherence to policies, safeguarding and standards to provide a safe, nurturing environment for children. Location: Laois.

Hours: Full-time with on-call responsibilities. Reports To: Regional Manager. A driving licence is required, and you will be responsible for governance, care planning, and partnership work with

Qualifications

• Minimum QQI level 7 in social care and a management qualification programme in view.
• At least 4 years’ full-time social care experience post-qualification.
• Current full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dedicated team to deliver high-quality care to children.
• Oversee day-to-day management of the Centre in line with policy and standards.
• Ensure safeguarding, governance, and risk management across operations.
• Attend meetings, audits, and reporting to maintain service quality.

Education
