Job summary

Sherpa Kids Ireland is hiring a Programme Lead to manage and lead a small team delivering before/after school and holiday clubs at partner schools. The role requires energy, a practical approach, and experience with school-aged children in Ireland.

You will coordinate day-to-day activities, support families, and ensure safeguarding with Garda vetting. Driving is preferred; hours include 8:00–9:00 and 14:00–18:00, maternity cover.

Qualifications

• Experience working with school aged children (minimum 1 year)
• Childcare qualification Fetac Level 5 or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of child development
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
• Garda vetting is essential (completed after interview)
• At least 2 written references before starting

Responsibilities

Programme Lead must have experience in managing and leading a team

Experience working with school aged children is preferred (Minimum 2 year)
