Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to share day-to-day operations of the creche centre and lead the staff team to deliver best practice in early years education.

You will be responsible for developing and delivering safe, developmentally appropriate programmes, implementing the REACH curriculum, and ensuring all regulatory requirements are met while supporting parental partnerships and staff development.

Qualifications

• A minimum of FETAC / QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent.
• Minimum five years in childcare and at least two in a supervisory role.
• Full clean EU driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and manage the daily operations of the Centre to ensure a safe, developmentally appropriate environment for children, in line with regulatory requirements.
• Lead staff and role model best practice to raise standards in early learning and care.
• Implement REACH curriculum aligning with Aistear and Siolta frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety and risk assessments as per regulations.
• Demonstrate effective people and business management including budgeting and occupancy management.
