Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to share management duties and lead daily operations of the creche centre in Ireland. The role requires a proactive, highly motivated individual with a track record in childcare.

You will oversee staff, ensure high standards of care, implement the REACH curriculum in line with national frameworks, and maintain compliance with TUSLA guidelines and childcare regulations. A driver’s licence is required.

Qualifications

• FETAC/QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education (or equivalent).
• Five years in childcare with at least two in a supervisory role.
• EU driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and manage daily operations of the Centre in line with regulatory requirements.
• Lead and inspire staff; model best practice in early years settings.
• Implement REACH curriculum aligned with Aistear and Siolta.
• Ensure policies, health and safety and Childcare Regulations are followed.
