Job summary

National Vehicle Distribution seeks a Head of Technical Services & Quality to lead technical governance, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across Ireland and the UK. You will guide design, safety, and inspection processes for vehicle conversions and fitouts, working closely with COO and cross-functional teams.

The role drives zero-defect output, expands capabilities, and ensures adherence to type-approval standards while advancing the company’s service portfolio and technical

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading multi-site engineering and quality teams.
• Strong knowledge of European/UK Type-Approval regulations and ISO 9001.
• Experience aligning SOPs with health, safety and regulatory standards.
• Capability to define technical specifications for complex vehicle conversions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SOPs and regulatory alignment across Ireland and the UK.
• Ensure statutory type-approval, roadworthiness, and safety standards for conversions.
• Lead QA frameworks across PDI, fitout, body repair, and workshops.
• Drive CAPA actions and root-cause analysis for non-conformances.
• Expand conversion and fitout capabilities across brands.
