Job summary

Noel Group, a regulated European financial services operation expanding its Ireland footprint, seeks a Chief Risk Officer (PCF-14) to build and lead the Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Qualifications

  • Experience within a regulated financial services environment.
  • Strong risk management, governance or operational resilience experience.
  • Experience gained within Payments, E-Money, Banking, Financial Services, Investment Services, Fintech or Digital Assets would be highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Risk Management frameworks.
  • Experience presenting to senior stakeholders, executive management or Boards.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ambitious and motivated to help build a regulated business from an early stage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Own the Risk Appetite Statement and Risk Register.
  • Oversee operational, regulatory, strategic and technology risk management.
  • Lead risk assessments across the business and support new product initiatives.
  • Oversee ICT Risk and Operational Resilience frameworks.
  • Monitor outsourcing and third-party risks.
  • Deliver regular risk reporting to Executive Management, the Audit & Risk Committee and the Board.
  • Support regulatory engagement and supervisory interactions.
  • Lead stress testing, scenario analysis and risk monitoring activities.
  • Provide independent challenge and oversight across the organisation.
  • Help foster a strong risk culture and governance framework.

Job description

Are you an experienced risk professional looking to play a key role in building the governance and risk framework of a regulated business from the ground up?

An established international digital assets, payments and financial infrastructure business headquartered in Madrid is expanding its regulated European operations through Ireland and is seeking a Chief Risk Officer (PCF-14) to join its growing leadership team.

This is a unique opportunity to establish and lead the Enterprise Risk Management Framework of a business currently progressing regulatory authorisation, while helping shape its governance, risk culture and operational resilience strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
  • Own the Risk Appetite Statement and Risk Register.
  • Oversee operational, regulatory, strategic and technology risk management.
  • Lead risk assessments across the business and support new product initiatives.

About You
