Job summary

EMPOWERMENT, in partnership with a MiFID regulated firm, seeks a Head of Risk, Compliance & AML to oversee risk, compliance and AML/CTF across the group and liaise with the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI).

The role requires PCF approval (PCF-12/PCF-14/PCF-52 or equivalents), strong regulatory knowledge, and proven leadership. Hybrid role with 2 days on-site in Dublin city centre; Irish/EU passport or Stamp 4 visa needed.

Qualifications

• PCF-approval in MiFID/EMI/PI/CASP/CSP is required.
• Strong regulatory knowledge under the applicable CBI licence.
• Superior communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing Risk, Compliance & AML/CTF functions for the group and reporting to the Board.
• Manage relationship with the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) on regulatory matters, including required reporting.
• Oversee compliance monitoring, internal controls, policy management, regulatory inspections, audits and remediation programmes.
• Lead on new regulatory projects that may impact the business.
