Job summary

Bon Secours Hospital Limerick seeks a Chief I Respiratory Physiologist to lead a developing Respiratory and Sleep service. You will shape pathways, supervise staff and drive clinical governance, education and workforce planning in a 35-hour week.

You will design new diagnostic and therapeutic services, implement evidence-based protocols and collaborate with consultants and management to ensure safe, efficient care and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Clinical Measurement per Irish requirements.
• Minimum experience appropriate to Chief I level.
• Strong experience in pulmonary function testing and sleep diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead pulmonary function testing and sleep pathways.
• Lead quality assurance, governance and reporting processes.
• Develop educational links and Respiratory Physiology student placements.
• Manage staff development, supervision and departmental performance.
• Oversee allocation of resources across respiratory pathways.
