Job summary

The Law Society of Ireland is seeking a Head of Human Resources to lead its people, culture and organisational development at a pivotal stage in its evolution. You will report to the Director of Finance, Operations & HR and shape a forward-looking people strategy aligned with the Society's 2024-2028 ambitions.

You will influence organisation-wide change, manage governance and risk in HR, and strengthen capability across the leadership team while delivering high-impact people initiatives.

Qualifications

• Significant senior HR leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience leading teams, budgets and organisational change.
• Excellent communication and senior stakeholder influencing skills.
• Sound judgement, resilience and a collaborative leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR function and act as a strategic advisor to the Executive Leadership Team.
• Develop and implement people strategy, governance and risk management across HR.
• Partner with senior leaders to drive workforce planning, engagement and leadership development.
