Job description

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join a highly profitable organization, overseeing the financial operations of multiple entities (approximately 10). This is a strategic position suited to a senior finance professional with extensive expertise in tax, advisory, and a strong foundation in finance and accounting. You’ll work closely with company leadership to make a significant impact on the organization’s direction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and manage tax strategies, ensuring compliance and providing advisory services across the organization.
2. Oversee the preparation and submission of Corporation Tax, Income Tax, VAT, and PAYE/PRSI.
3. Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies, including credits, reliefs, and deductions aligned with Irish tax regulations.
4. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, management accounts, and performance reports.
5. Shape and implement the company’s financial strategy to support business objectives.
6. Evaluate future project opportunities to align with the organization’s financial goals.
7. Collaborate with business owners, providing financial insights and strategic guidance.
8. Lead and mentor a small team of finance professionals.
9. Partner with the Operations Manager to ensure seamless financial operations.

Experience & Qualifications

1. A minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in Finance and Accounting.
2. A recognized professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, ACA, or CFA preferred).
3. Proven expertise in strategic financial planning, risk management, and operational leadership.
4. Strong track record in tax management and advisory.
5. Experience managing complex financial structures across multiple entities.
