Job summary

The Head of Digital Transformation & ICT at Inland Fisheries Ireland will lead the organisation's digital and technology strategy, overseeing enterprise architecture, budget management and performance reporting. This senior public sector role requires strategic oversight and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver value and improve services.

You will drive a high-performing team, ensure governance and GDPR compliance, and align the digital agenda with IFI's 2026-2030

Qualifications

• Senior IT leadership with strategic planning and risk management.
• Experience engaging senior stakeholders and managing resources.
• Full, clean Category B driving licence valid in Ireland.
• Strong budgeting for capital and operating expenditure.
• Proven ability to lead and develop staff.
• Excellent communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the development and delivery of the Digital Transformation & ICT function.
• Drive the Digital Strategy and enterprise architecture across IFI.
• Manage ICT budgets and governance to ensure value for money.
• Oversee security, data governance, and GDPR compliance across systems.
• Lead the high-performance Digital Transformation & ICT team and stakeholders.
• Engage external partners and suppliers in line with public procurement guidelines.
