Job summary

Jobtailor in Ireland is seeking a senior leader to own the roadmap for AI-enabled digital applications and to drive production-ready AI capabilities within a regulated financial services environment.

You will mentor a team of AI engineers and application owners, collaborating with Product, IT and vendors to deliver and optimise solutions while maintaining compliance with data protection and information security obligations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading application delivery and/or applied AI in financial services.
• Experience delivering AI, generative AI or automation solutions to production.
• Proven ability to build and lead high-performing engineering teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and change leadership skills.
• Knowledge of AI governance, data protection and information security.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the roadmap for AI-enablement and the digital application portfolio.
• Identify, prioritise and deliver AI-enabled opportunities that reduce manual work.
• Lead, develop and inspire a team of application owners and AI engineers.
• Own the lifecycle of the firm’s digital applications.
• Lead design, build and deployment of AI capabilities.
• Ensure AI and application delivery meet regulatory obligations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align AI initiatives with business needs.
• Work with Product, IT and vendors to deliver and optimise digital applications.
