The SpitJack in Cork is hiring chefs of all grades to join our kitchen team. Flexible work options include part-time and full-time roles with immediate or flexible start dates, located on Washington Street in Cork city.

Wages start from €14.50/hour depending on experience and grade. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking to SpitJack standards, maintaining quality and safety, mentoring juniors for senior grades, and contributing to a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking dishes to SpitJack standards
• Working across sections of the kitchen as required by grade and experience
• Ensuring consistent quality, presentation, and portion control
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment
• Following food safety, hygiene, and allergen procedures at all times
• Managing stock rotation and storage where applicable
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members (for senior grades)
• Contributing to a positive, team-focused kitchen culture
