Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and delivering exceptional service in a lively retail environment.
• Sharing knowledge about Irish and European artisan cheeses, foods, and producers.
• Recommending flavours, pairings, and products with confidence.
• Caring for cheese to ensure it is presented and sold at its very best.
• Maintaining attractive product displays and signage throughout the day.
• Receiving deliveries and organising stock correctly.
• Supporting stock rotation and reducing waste.
• Maintaining food safety standards, HACCP records, and allergen awareness.
• Keeping counters, fridges, and storage areas clean and well organised.
• Assisting with seasonal displays, including hampers.

We're looking for a Cheesemonger to join our Nass counter in Dunnes stores on a 16-hour per week Permanent contract. No previous cheesemongering experience is needed - just a genuine passion for food, great conversation, and a willingness to learn.
