Job summary

Kinisla Group seeks a technically strong Cheese Platform Lead to shape and deliver next-gen cheese and cheese-based solutions. Lead concept development, fermentation design, pilot trials and factory scale-up while partnering with Commercial, Marketing, Operations and Regulatory teams.

Requires deep dairy science, project leadership and ability to convert insights into scalable products and processes. Located in Charleville, Ireland with strong collaboration across manufacturing sites.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in dairy/science related field
• 3+ years of R&D or technical development in dairy/cheese
• Strong knowledge of cheese formulation and processing
• Proven ability to lead projects from brief to factory implementation
• Experience with analytical, sensory and physical characterization methods
• Understanding of safety, quality, regulatory and nutrition claims
• Strong commercial awareness to translate tech into scalable products
• Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership

Responsibilities

• Lead the cheese platform from opportunity to commercial handover
• Translate business needs into product recipes and process designs
• Plan lab, pilot, and production-scale trials with data-driven decisions
• Collaborate with universities, suppliers and external partners
• Communicate progress, risks and recommendations to stakeholders
