Job summary

Giraffe Childcare Limited is seeking an experienced Centre Manager to lead the daily operations of the creche, ensuring a safe, developmentally appropriate environment and top standards of care. You will model best practice, manage staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.

The role requires leadership in program development, staff supervision, and effective liaison with families while maintaining occupancy and budget controls.

Qualifications

• Must have FETAC/QQI Level 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent.
• Minimum five years in childcare with at least two in a management role.
• Full clean EU driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Centre ensuring a safe, developmentally appropriate environment.
• Lead staff to maintain best practice and high standards in line with regulatory requirements.
• Implement REACH curriculum aligned with Aistear and Siolta frameworks.
• Ensure policies, health and safety procedures, and risk assessments are followed.
