The role partners with the Sales team to drive go-to-market strategies, manage demand streams, and provide sales support, pricing, and forecasting for strategic accounts. You will collaborate with Planning, Manufacturing, and Global Supply Partners to align requirements and expectations, contributing to a fast-paced and impactful environment.

Responsibilities

  • The CAS continually monitors revenue, backlog, forecasts, and performance to plan.
  • Communicates requirements and expectations for assigned accounts with internal teams.
  • Manages pricing needs of customers, quotations, pricing contracts, and negotiations.
  • Forecasting Revenue and Unit Forecasting; manage MSD/PRT+, sampling and demand monitoring.

Job Description Summary

This entry level role (Customer Account Specialist) partners with the Sales Team adding value to the FSE mission and enhancing the customer experience. The CSS will drive ADI's go-to-market strategy focused on enabling customer success on ADI's most strategic accounts. The CAS will proactively manage all aspects of assigned customers demand stream with ADI. This includes sales support, customer interface, pricing and contracts, sales forecasting, supply and demand optimization, and project management. The CAS will also work with Planning, Manufacturing, Business Units, and the Global Supply Partners to communicate requirements and expectations for assigned accounts. This role is fast paced, exciting, and challenging. The perfect candidate will be professional, agile, and able to make an impact out of the gate.

Additional Role Specifics

The CAS continually monitors revenue, backlog, forecasts, and performance to plan. This person understands customers programs that drive revenue and ensures all backend systems are aligned to support anticipated demand. The CAS collaborates closely with Global Ops, Planning, and the Sales Team on a day-to-day basis and is a point of escalation for both the internal and external customers. The CAS should function as an advisor to the team adding input to help resolve problems and/or achieve goals. The CAS works pro-actively to be in front of situations and notify appropriate teams ahead of issues as well as providing solutions to problems. The CAS should have excellent presentation skills being able to lead customer meetings via phone, virtually, and in person. The CAS manages all pricing needs of the customers providing quotations, managing pricing contracts, and coordinating worldwide. This includes being a focal point for contract negotiations coordinating with the contract center, providing input, and participating in negotiations. The CAS will also manage Forecasting Revenue, Unit Forecasting (CFIT), Split / DAR Management, MSD/PRT+, Sampling, Demand Monitoring (QlikView / Drop off reports, etc.)

You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with internal partners to support ADI's customer base.

  • Sales - track new design opportunities and project ramps
  • Business Units - review end customer product life cycles to understand business environments
  • Demand Planning - share and consult on customer forecast data
  • Quality Assurance - coordinate product changes and applications support
  • Social & Environmental Management Teams - align customer requirements with ADI policies
  • Supply Chain Management - analyze and understand supply position at each stage of production
  • Legal - review and negotiate customer supply agreements
