Job summary

Irish HomeCare is seeking qualified and experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our growing team in Cavan. Successful candidates will provide home care services to clients in their own homes across the local community.

Role requires QQI Level 5 Health or Social Care, prior care experience, good English, and a valid Irish driving licence with access to a vehicle. 39 hours per week across varied shifts, with opportunities including mornings, afternoons and evenings.

Qualifications

• Must have QQI Level 5 Health or Social Care (or equivalent).
• Previous care or healthcare experience is required.
• Strong verbal communication and good command of spoken and written English.
• Full Irish driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal, non-medical care to clients in their own homes.
• Assist with physical, nutritional and social needs as per Care Plan.
• Perform personal care tasks including washing, dressing, continence care, mobility, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
