Job summary

The Hermitage Clinic in Dublin is seeking a Staff Nurse to join the St Marks Ward. You will provide high-quality nursing care, work as part of a frontline team and support continuous quality improvement within the ward.

Applicants should be registered with the NMBI, have at least two years post-registration experience in an acute setting and hold BLS. The role requires flexibility and commitment to patient-centred care within a private hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Be registered in the general division of the NMBI.
• At least two years post-registration nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
• ICU/CCU nursing experience is desirable.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of the nursing team on day duty and perform duties as allocated by the Clinical Nurse Manager 2.
• Deliver skilled practical care to patients and participate in planning, delivery and evaluation of care with a patient-centred focus.
• Provide holistic support to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate patient records using the Meditech system.
• Be flexible to be deployed to other areas of the hospital as required.
• Document and report incidents to the CNM and participate in investigations as needed.
