Job summary

Bon Secours Hospital Cork is seeking a Staff Nurse to support a broad range of inpatient specialist areas, including Cath lab and Interventional Radiology. Full training and ongoing mentoring are provided, with funding and support for further education.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for nursing care on each shift and work within a multidisciplinary team to maintain the highest patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMBI general division registration.
• Minimum 3 years recent experience in an acute setting; 1–2 years in a procedure room or similar area desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility on each shift for the nursing care of allocated patients.
• Work within the nursing team and assist colleagues to maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support Cath lab/Interventional Radiology procedures.
